Artifacts in action. That's what the Center's culture trunks are all about. The Center for East Asian Studies has a culture trunk from each of the three countries we cover: Japan, China and Korea. Trunks are packed with various items from receipts to hats to maps to books to shoes. Trunks come with didactic cards that explain each artifact and teachers can either check them out of schedule a visit from an East Asian expert with the trunk.
