Study Abroad Opportunities:

  • Cornell University, FLACON program: Summer, Spring and Fall language programs for beginning to advanced level students of Japanese and Chinese
  • Peking University: Summer language program for beginning to advanced levels
  • Stanford University and Peking University: Five-week summer language program for beginning to advanced levels
  • Beloit College: Summer language program for beginning to advanced level students of Japanese and Chinese
  • Job Opportunities:

  • Concordia Language Village: Hiring staff for a program in Concordia College, Moorhead, Minnesota that provides immersion experiences in 13 world languages (including Korean, Chinese, and Japanese) for young people.
  • Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) Program
  • The Korean Literature Translation Fellowship Program: The program is ¡°designed to provide prospective translators with financial assistance for studying at Korean universities or at their home institutions to develop their skills as translators of Korean literature.
